The restaurant at the Golden Lion in Sonnefeld owned by the Bauersachs family is always worth a visit. We have been here several times to eat and have never been disappointed. There is local, authentic and freshly cooked Franconian cuisine. Whether schnitzel with crispy fries, meatballs with t Crunchy & juicy fried potatoes, as well as currywurst and the salads, all delicious leck The roast meats on Sunday including delicious dumplings are particularly positive! The prices are cheap and the portions plentiful. The golden lion is a family business and you can feel it. We like it here and we'd love to come back.

Super delicious food, large portions, what more could you want? The five of us came here for dinner. And even got a table without a reservation. All dishes ordered were good to very good. For that, you sometimes wait a few minutes longer. We will definitely be back!
